摘　　要：新闻是通过报纸、电视台、互联网等媒体对新近发生事件的报道。受到各种权利或政治集团的利益驱动,新闻报道从来都不是绝对客观公正的。文章以系统功能语言学为理论基础,对中美报纸关于"过期门"报道的标题进行批评性话语分析,剖析中美两国对于此事的不同态度、立场,从而揭示新闻话语的不公正性。News is the reports on recent events through newspapers ,TV stations or the Internet .Driven by the inter-ests of various rights and political groups ,news reports could never be absolutely objective and fair .Employing the systemic-functional linguistics as the theoretical basis&analytical method ,the paper probed into the headlines of several reports on the “meat scanda” from Washington Post and China Daily to investigate the different attitudes and stances of the US and China .Through comparative analysis ,the non-objectivity of news discourse was revealed .
