The brokerage arm of China's most politically pedigreed financial firm has found a number of its executives entangled in a government inquiry. Citic Securities had positioned itself as China's 'go-to' financial house for deal making in recent years and took the lead during the bull run to promote instruments like cross-border equity swaps that gave foreign hedge funds access to China's markets.
