摘　　要：20世纪70年代初,中国长期积累的环境污染问题爆发出来,促使政府开始关注和努力解决环境污染问题。为了弄清环境污染的状况并为解决环境问题提供科学依据,中国开展了全国范围的污染调查。70年代进行的这次调查既包括全国普查性质的对工业"三废"污染的调查,也包括针对重大污染事件进行的重点区域调查。污染调查工作取得了大量成果,推动了中国环境保护事业的发展。In the early of 1970 s,China's long-term accumulated environmental pollution problems broke out and prompted the government to pay attention and make efforts to solve environmental pollution problems.In order to understand the situation of environmental pollution and provide scientific basis for solving environmental problems,China had carried out a nationwide pollution investigation.The investigation in the 1970 s included both national census of 'three wastes' industrial pollution investigation and key-area investigation on major pollution incidents.The pollution investigation works had made lot of achievements and promoted the development of China's environmental protection undertakings.
