Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture to prevent postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoid. Methods:80 ca-ses with mixed hemorrhoid were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The control group was given Indometacin Suppositories and treatment group was given acupuncture treatment. Compare the main symptom score, visual analogue scale method (visual analogue scale,VAS)score, main symptoms disappear time of two groups. Results:The edema, anus falling and inflation and pain score of two groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P ﹤ 0. 05). The edema, anus falling and inflation and pain score of treatment group after one week was significantly lower than control group(P ﹤ 0. 05). The 1 d,3 d,5 d,7 d VAS score of two groups was significantly lower than before(P ﹤ 0. 05). The 1 d,3 d,5 d,7 d VAS score of treatment group was significantly lower than that of control group(P ﹤ 0. 05). The edema, anus falling and inflation and pain score of treatment group were significantly shorter than that of control group(P ﹤ 0. 01). Conclusion:Acupuncture therapy can effectively improve postoperative pain of patients with mixed hemorrhoid and reduce the dosage of analgesic drugs.
