无锡黄巷农村自治实验再探(1929～1932)

摘　　要：在江苏省立教育学院主持下,1929至1932年间,在无锡黄巷进行了农村自治实验。实验以改变农村经济面貌,普及文化教育,训练农民自治能力为主要目标。为此实验区先后进行了经济改良实验,同时进行了修建道路,修筑堤圩等公共工程,并帮助民众调节劳动纠纷。经过实验区努力,曾泛滥一时的迷信活动得到遏制,科学知识得到传播,村民的自治能力得到训练提高。From 1929 to 1932, Jiangsu Provincial Education College took charge of an experiment on rural autonomous in Huang Xiang Wuxi, with an aim to improve the rural economy, popularize education and improve farmers＂ autonomous capacity. During the experiment, a series of public projects were carried out in this area on economy promotion, road building, repairing river banks and so on. And help was also provided to solve local disputes and conflicts. The experiment area also included mass education movement, compulsory literacy of adolescence, compulsory schooling for children. After the experiment, once widespread superstitious activities were curbed, the economy and education were also improved to some extent, and the villagers could deal with the important affairs in the village independently.
