清代漳州乡贤何子祥的生平和著述

摘　　要：清代漳州人何子祥先是在浦江当县令,同时,兼任一段时间的义乌县令,后调任平阳为官,最后在平阳任上逝世。他为官清廉,致力于修建道路、兴修水利,体察民情、澄清吏治,为善不辍、移风易俗,重视教育、兴建书院。何子祥留下的两部著作《蓉林笔抄》《何氏家谱》是漳州重要的地方性历史文献,对它们进行挖掘整理,具有重要意义。In the Qing Dynasty, He Zixiang from Zhangzhou first served as a county magistrate both in Pujiang County and Yiwu County for a period of time. Afterward he was transferred to act as an official in Pingyang, and finally died on his post. All through his career, He Zixiang was an incorruptible official, who was committed to buildting roads, constructing water-contral projects, caring for the needs of the public, cleasening out political corruptions, keeping on mercies, transforming social traditions. He attached great importance to education, devoting himself to constructing schools. He Zixiang left two books to the world named “Ronglin’s Manuscript Copy” and “The He’s Genealogy” .Both are important local historical documents of zhangzhou. So it is worthwhile retrieving as well as doing some research on them.
