摘　　要：在现代大学治理中,共享治理模式发展迅速,它在科研机构和管理机构中达成了共识,并由大学行政长官进行协调。对大学作为学术服务组织的观点进行阐释,探讨变动的、市场化的外部环境对大学发展的影响,得出的结论是:一定程度的共享治理对现代大学的成功必不可少。这里主要探讨的是20世纪80年代以来英国大学治理模式的演进,同时对美国大学治理的理论和实践也有所借鉴。因此,得出的结论具有一定的普遍性。A shared governance model is quickly developed in which university governance is shared between the academic and governing bodies and is coordinated by the university executives. The view that the university is a professional service organization is elucidated,and influences of a flexible,marketized external environment on the development of universities have been discussed. It concludes that to some degree,shared governance is necessary for the success of modern universities. Although the evolution of UK university governance modes over the past sixty years are mainly talked about,it also uses the theory and practice of US university governance as reference. Therefore,the conclusion can be universally used to some extent.
