太平天国“娼妓是完全绝迹”了吗?  

Has Prostitution Vanished in Taiping Heavenly Kingdom?

摘　　要：太平天国是严禁娼妓行为的,但由于多种原因的影响,在太平天国统治的广大乡村存在严重的私娼现象,在太平天国各王府和广大的军队中,还残存大量的封建家妓和官妓。太平天国没有彻底废除令人憎恶的娼妓制,广大妇女也没有真正摆脱性奴隶的地位。所谓太平天国娼妓"完全禁绝"的观点是不正确的。太平天国之所以禁娼,主要出于拜上帝教反对男女淫乱和禁止奸淫妇女的宗教思想,并非解放妇女的主观所为,对此不能给予过高的评价。Although the prostitution was strictly prohibited in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, there still widely existed the illegal prostitutes in the countryside due to various causes. In both the government and the army of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, there still remained the home prostitute and the legal prostitute, accustom left by the preceding era. So, the conclusion that the prostitution has vanished in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom is not true. The initial point of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom＇s prohibition of prostitution is their thought of forbidding raping women and opposing immoral sex. The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom failed in this prostitution -prohibition, it shows the kingdom accepted its return to the traditional social custom which has deeply rooted in our society. It is obviously not true to make extra- high evaluation and enthusiast praise to the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom＇s prostitution - prohibition system, it can not be taken as the evidence for the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom＇s women liberation. The Taiping Heavenly truly shake off the Kingdom did not completely abolish the hateful prostitution system, and the women either did not position as the sexual slaves.
