摘　　要：大学共性和个性源于大学文化的普遍性与特殊性,文化普遍性要求大学必须做出共性选择,文化特殊性使大学文化选择具备了个性特征,大学是共性和个性的统一体。文章从文化选择的视角分析了中国特色社会主义大学共性与个性并存的必然性及重要性,提出了大学超越过强的共性制约走向个性与特色发展之路的基本策略。University’s commonality and individuality comes from cultural universality and specificity.Cultural universality requires that the university must make common choice,while cultural specificity results in university’s individuality.Thus,university is the unity of commonality and individuality.This paper analyzes the necessity and importance of the co-existence of commonality and individuality in Chinese-characterized socialist universities in the perspective of cultural choice,and formulates the strategy that the universities should get out of the constraint of commonality and enhance the development of individuality.
