摘　　要：在移动互联网、云计算迅猛发展的今天,围绕着如何实现异构的应用到应用的通信,REST风格的Web Service是更有前途的方式。本文首先研究了REST架构的关键概念和主要特征,然后列举了目前已有的RESTful Web Service的规范和实现框架,并指出在实际开发中比较好的办法是混用REST和MVC。Comparing with Distributed Objects（DO）and Remote Procedure Call（RPC）,REST style web service is a more promising way to achieve communication between heterogeneous application on the internet.This paper first studies key concepts and main characteristics of REST web service,and then lists the existing restful web service specification and implementation framework,and points out that a combination of REST and MVC is the best practice in development of web application.
