In 1990s, the Chinese papers and Chinese literature in Malaysia working together result in the rising and fast development of the new-generation literature. The disil- lusion caused by the discrimination by their own country despite of their loyalty to it made the resistance of the new-generation literature vivid and profound. The Chinese papers in Malaysia provided a stage where the writers of new generation could express their feelings and resistance in Chinese. The polyphonic themes of resistance and resignation, the hardship and sadness, however, existed in the past Chinese literature in Malaysia and will continue to exist in the future.
