摘　　要：弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫在大量阅读和评论英国文学作品的基础上,为英国文学疆界作出了有机建构,主要包含三个层面的内容:在总体形态上,构建以"愉悦"为核心的编年史结构,将文学的超越性和文学的历史性有机结合;在内在构成上,用虚实相映与对比评判的审美方式揭示英国文学的独创性与局限;在特性概括中,以国别文学对照方式提炼出英国文学侧重个性描写和擅长幽默喜剧的特征。Based on her comprehensive review,Virginia Woolf constructed an organic boundary for British literature,which includes three aspects:in terms of form,it is of chronologic structure with 'pleasure'as its core,for the purpose of unifying its literary transcendence with literary historicism;in terms of its formation,it discloses originality and defects of British literature through comparisons between the real and the fictional and among different books;in terms of characteristics,it summarizes the features of British literature as character writing,humor and comedy through a comparison among different literatures.
