麦尔维尔的宗教求索之路:兼论麦尔维尔与尼采的宗教亲缘性

摘　　要：作为被时代疏离的孤独者,麦尔维尔与尼采都有着很深的宗教浸淫和宗教思考。本文旨在探究麦尔维尔从颠覆到幻灭的宗教求索之路,并继而论证麦尔维尔的"上帝的沉默"与尼采的"上帝之死"之间超越性的亲缘关系,揭示在上帝的失声与不在场的世界里麦尔维尔与尼采二人对存在主义生命价值观的肯定。Melville and Nietzsche,both as great isolatoes alienated by their contemporaries in the 19 thcentury,immersed themselves in religious questing and thinking. The paper aims to probe into Melville's religious quest from subversion to disillusionment,and subsequently justify the transcendental affinity between Melvillean 'the silence of God'and Nietzschean 'the death of God',pointing out the affirmation of the existential value of individual life in the world where God is silenced and absent.
