摘 要:山地冰川活动的年代测定是青藏高原及其周边山地古环境重建的关键问题之一。由于测年数据有限,该地区第四纪冰川的发育时间仍有较大争议。作为能用于冰川沉积物直接定年的有效方法,光释光技术是解决该争议的手段之一。本文综述了此前青藏高原及其周边山地冰川沉积光释光测年的工作。光释光技术可以应用于该区冰川沉积测年。当然,野外采样时必须注意采样点的选择。冰湖、冰河沉积以及冰面融出碛等在搬运和沉积过程中更易于曝光,释光信号容易归零,因此是比较理想的测年选择。虽然问题仍然很多,但仍有不少光释光测年成功应用于第四纪冰川的报道。为了准确确定该区第四纪冰川活动的时间及其驱动机制,未来需要更多更精确的测年数据,包括光释光与宇宙射线等其他方法的对比应用。Chronology of mountain glacier plays an important role for reconstructing palaeo-climate in the Qinghai- Tibetan Plateau (QTP) and its bordering mountains. The timing of Quaternary glaciations in this region is still highly debated, due to the limited chronological data. As one of the valid techniques which can be used to directly date glacial sediments, optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) method provides opportunities to solve this issue. The paper reviews previous studies of OSL dating of glacial sediments from the QTP and its bordering mountains. OSL method is applicable to date glacial sediments from this region. However, the location for sampling should be carefully selected in the field. Glaciolacustrine, glaciofluvial sediments and supraglacial tills are recommended, because they are more likely to be reset during transportation and deposition. Successful applications of OSL dating on Quaternary glaciation have been reported, although problems still occur. More dates with greater precision, including application of OSL and terrestrial cosmogenic nuclide (TCN) techniques for comparison, are required, to determine unambiguously the timing and trigger mechanism of glacier fluctuations in this region.
