摘 要:对一种具有三层层间磁耦合调控层的垂直磁记录介质,通过改变调控层的膜厚,磁记录层之间的磁耦合强度被有效调控,介质的静态磁特性和动态读写性能随之改变。较弱的层间磁耦合可显著改善介质的信噪比和可擦写能力,但会导致磁道宽度变宽。三层调控层的影响程度不一致,需要综合优化三层的膜厚,以获得最高的信息存储密度。层间耦合强度还会影响到介质的热稳定因子,在介质的设计过程中需要综合考虑。Through varying the ECL (Exchange Control Layer) layer thickness, the vertical magnetic ex- change coupling between adjacent magnetic recording layers was effectively adjusted in one triple-ECLperpendicular magnetic recording medium. The bulk magnetic properties and dynamic magnetic recording performance were changed accordingly. A weaker inter layer magnetic coupling improved SNR (Signal-to-noise ratio) and OW (Overwrite), but widened MCW (Magnetic Core Width). Three ECL's were playing a different role in affecting both bulk and recording performances, therefore they needed to be optimized simultaneously so that a maximum areal density could be achieved. The thermal stability factor was affected by the inter layer magnetic coupling strength as well, therefore it should be taken into consideration when we designed one kind of medium
