摘　　要：在对黄海海域浮游植物进行调查取样中,通过对样品进行扫描电镜(SEM)观察,发现了金藻的一个新记录种——地中海棘球藻Meringosphaera mediterranea Lohmann.该种的主要特征是:细胞球形,具有长刺状结构,长刺波状,其上有棘,长刺的底端呈盘状,圆盘上有一个缺口.该种在世界各海域广泛分布,但其藻体形态、生态习性等的报道较少.Phytoplankton samples are collected from the Yellow Sea in May,2009. A new recorded species of Chrysophyceae,Meringosphaera mediterranea,is found by using Scanning Electronic Microscope（ SEM）. This species is characterized by 1） spherical cells,2） with long,undulating spine bearing thorns,3） a base plate connected at the inboard end of the spine. This species is widely distributed in the world,but little is known about its morphological and ecological characteristics.
