摘　　要：中国是一个历史悠久、民族众多的国家,丧葬礼制以及习俗可谓异彩纷呈。然而,从现代社会管理的角度看,这些丧葬习俗的多样性既有积极传承民族文化的一面,也有不利于国民健康的陋习,有的陋习在过往的历史中缺少国家层面的统一管理,已经严重地影响到民众健康。如何进一步改革与完善现代社会的殡葬制度,戊戌状元夏同龢1905年出版的《行政法》一书,其中关于丧葬管理制度的内容为我们提供了有益的启示。China is a multinational country with a long history and splendid culture. There were a vari- ety of burial rites and customs. However, from the perspective of modem management, this diversity has both positive and negative effects on modem society. How to further reform and improve the funeral system in modern society, the Number One Scholar Xia Tong-he gave some implications in his book Administrative Law in 1905.
