摘　　要：本文以嘉兴市图书馆乡镇分馆的升级改造为例,介绍该市基层分馆提档升级工作的缘起、实施和成效,并归纳该馆成功做法的相关经验,以期为其他基层公共图书馆提供借鉴和启示。嘉兴市乡镇分馆着重从三个方面进行了改造升级:一是馆舍环境上,从过去保障型环境升级到休闲型环境;二是硬件设备上,从保障基本功能升级到以自动化为核心的现代化管理系统和设备;三是服务功能上,由以前的以借阅为主的传统服务升级到文献借阅与读者活动齐头并进、重视阅读推广、支持数字阅读的现代图书馆服务。概而言之,升级后的乡镇分馆,除了规模无法与总馆相比,在内涵与功能上,几乎等同于嘉兴市图书馆的缩微版。Taking the upgrading and rebuilding of branch libraries in villages and towns in Jiaxing as examples,this paper discusses the origin,implementation,effects and successful experiences of grass-roots libraries＇ upgrading and summarizes its perfect practice to provide successful reference and inspiration for other grass-roots libraries.The libraries in villages and towns of Jiaxing have mainly carried out the upgrading in three aspects：first,the space of libraries is promoted from basic level to recreational environment;second,modern automated management system has replaced the old equipment;third,traditional services in which borrowing and reading are predominated have been supplanted by modern library services which attach more importance to reader activity,reading promotion and digital reading.In general,except the size of the library,upgraded grass-roots libraries are actually miniature version of Jiaxing main library in the aspect of function and value.
