摘 要:铝是替换铸铁制造汽车刹车盘可减轻重量的优选材料。为了实现其应用,必须解决铝基材料不耐磨损和不耐高温的两大缺陷。汽车刹车盘轻量化设计的指导思想之一是使用耐高温的高级材料应对刹车时产生的高温,而我们的思路是利用铝合金轮毂作为制动摩擦热的主要蓄热器和散热器,极大地提高散热效率,尽可能降低工作温度,为使用低成本轻质材料创造良好的工作环境。为了提高铝基材料自身的耐磨和耐高温性能,我们研制了钢面铝基刹车盘。Aluminum is a priority candidate lightweight material for replacing cast iron in the automobile brake production. However aluminum is not wear resistant and cannot withstand elevated temperatures. The two problems have to be solved in order to use aluminum in the brake production.One idea of lightweight brake design is to use exotic high temperature materials to deal with elevated temperatures generated during braking. In contrast, our idea is to utilize the connected aluminum wheel as the major brake heat sink and radiator which can significantly increase the heat dissipation efficiency, lower brake working temperatures, and create the proper working environment for lower cost lightweight materials. In order to increase the wear resistance and working temperatures of an aluminum based material, we have developed the steel clad aluminum(SCA) disc brake.
