摘　　要：哈民忙哈遗址位于内蒙古科左巾旗舍伯吐镇东偏南约20公里处，西南距通辽市区约50公里。遗址位于西辽河及其支流新开河之间，地处西辽河平原东部科尔沁沙地腹心地带（图一）。2010年4月，内蒙古自治区文物考古研究所在配合通（辽）-霍（林河）铁路复线建设而开展的文物踏勘期间，发现了已被破坏的哈民忙哈遗址。2010、2011年相继进行了两次大规模抢救性发掘。2012年7～9月，内蒙古自治区文物考古研究所对哈民忙哈遗址进行第三次抢救性考古发掘：The excavation to the Hamin Mangha Site in 2012 recovered 11 semi-subterranean house foundations, 19 ash pits, six burials, two surrounding ditches （moats）, from which over 500 pieces of artifacts including pottery wares, jades and implements made of stone, bone and shell were unearthed. In addition, many layers of human skeletons and wooden architectural structural parts were also found in the excavation. The site was surrounded by two rings of ditches （moats）. Hamin Mangha Site is a large-scale prehistoric settlement site, the rich and unique cultural features and the eccentric style of which sharply different from that of the nearby archaeological cultures reflected the cultural connotations and characteristics peculiar to the ＂Hamin Culture＂ .
