摘 要:以季戊四醇为炭源、三聚氰胺为气源和磷酸为酸源,制备新型膨胀型阻燃剂(MPP-IFR),通过膨胀度和剩炭率评价阻燃剂的性能。将阻燃剂应用于聚丙烯,探讨阻燃剂用量对阻燃聚丙烯性能的影响,并采用扫描电镜对材料燃烧结炭断面进行研究。结果表明,阻燃剂用量为25份时,极限氧指数为31.5,垂直燃烧测试达到V-0级,阻燃聚丙烯的综合性能最优,结炭断面的泡沫结构最完整。A novel intumescent fire retardant(MPP-IFR) was synthesized by using pentaerythritol as carbon source, melamine as gas source and phosphoric acid as acid source, respectively. The properties of fire retardant were evaluated through expansion degree and char yield. Then, intumescent flame resistant polypropylene was prepared by adding MPP-IFR as fire retardant. The influence of the consumption of fire retardant on performances of flame resistant polypropylene was investigated in detail, and the structure of the char residue were studied by scanning electronic microscope(SEM). The results showed that flame resistant polypropylene reached an optimum overall performance and foam structure of the char residue was most integrated, when the content of the fire retardant was 25 phr. In the optimal conditions, the limited oxygen index(LOI) value of flame resistant polypropylene was up to 31.5, and UL94 testing reached V-0 level.
