摘　　要：茂名作为一个沿海石化型工业城市,有较好的石化工业基础,也有建设天然良港的优越条件,还有丰富的海洋资源与农业资源等。充分利用茂名地区的工业基础、地理位置、交通网络、资源优势等,积极参与国家实施"一路一带"的发展战略,对于茂名地区的社会经济发展与进一步开放具有积极的拉动作用。文章分析探讨了茂名地区参与"海上丝绸之路"战略实施的发展机遇与比较优势等,为茂名地区早日融入"一路一带"建设提供科学的决策参考。As a coastal and petrochemical industry city,Maoming has a better basis for petrochemical industry.There are favorable conditions for the construction of natural harbor,and rich marine resources,agricultural resources as well.Making full use of industrial base,geographic location,transportation network,resource advantages,actively participating in national implementation of the＂one way＂development strategy is becoming more pressing.The paper puts forward opportunities and advantages of Maoming participating in the＂maritime Silk Road＂development,and provides scientific reference for the economic integration of Maoming area.
