摘　　要：对城市外来人口而言,不会移入地方言是他们融入当地生活的一个障碍。新苏州人在融入城市生活的过程中,也存在语言选用和身份认同问题。受访者推动抽样调查的结果表明,在不同的交际空间,面对不同的交际对象,新苏州人会选用不同的语码,而苏州话的使用可以增强他们的苏州人身份认同。Urban migrants, unable to master the dialect of residence, will be a barrier to their integration into the local life. As for the new citizens of Suzhou, they have to face the issue of selecting right codes and establishing right identity. The investigation is conducted by using the method of Respondent Driven Sampling Survey. The re- sult shows that they will use different codes in different communicative spaces according to different objects. The use of Suzhou dialect can enhance their identity.
