摘　　要："孝"的构形寓含着敬老的文化理念,语义经历了从对虚无祖先神灵的敬畏到善事父母。孔子在《论语》中提出了应该"孝",孟子回答了"如何孝"。先秦时期孝从无功利到有功利,内容越来越具体可操作,孝成为各种德行的基础。＂Filial piety＂configuration implies the cultural concept of respect for the aged.The meaning of filial piety has experienced from the fear of the gods and the false ancestor gods to support parents.Confucius put forward＂filial piety＂in the Analects of Confucius.Mencius echoed how to practice filial piety.The content of filial piety in the pre-Qin period was from without utilitarian to utilitarian,which became more and more practical.Filial piety is the foundation of all kinds of virtues.
