摘　　要：在影响美巴关系的诸多因素中,美国白宫与国务院之争是较为重要的一个因素。本文将分析美国白宫和国务院对巴基斯坦的认知和政策取向,然后再以1971年南亚危机期间白宫与国务院的分歧为例,分析其对美巴关系带来的影响,最后对美巴关系中的美国府院之争因素做出一个较为准确的评估。The difference between White House and State Department is a major determinant of US-Pakistan relations. This article will analyze how White House, US State Department and Pakistan perceive each other and the policy choices of them. An analysis on White House-State Department difference and its influence upon US-Pak relation will be made in this paper with the exemplification of South Asia Crisis 1971. An evaluation on the role of White House-State Department difference in US-Pak relation will be made.
