摘　　要：20世纪初期以后,美国主流文学及其创作风格逐渐失去了主导地位,新生代文学异军突起,开启了美国文学多元化发展的新格局。对美国当代著名犹太作家博纳德·马拉默德和索尔·贝娄的代表作品进行深入解读,揭示美国当代文学所蕴涵的犹太民族的文化特质,这包括受苦受难的献身精神和对属于自己的精神家园的不懈追寻,历久弥新的犹太文化对美国当代文学有十分深刻的影响。Since the beginning of the 20 th century,the mainstream American literatures and styles gradually lost their leading status, and a great amount of new literatures suddenly rose, turning American literature towards a diversified development pattern. In the context of Jewish culture,Jewish literature is an essential one of the streams that affect the direction of development of modern American literature. By reading and interpreting representative works of Saul Bellow and Bernard Malamud,two of the most well-known Jewish writers,the paper revealed Jewish culture connotations inherent in modern American literature, including suffering dedication and tireless pursuit of their homes. The never-fading Jewish culture has significant influence on modern American literature.
