摘　　要：英国传教士汉明灯于1921年编修的《广汉县志略》,系四川省600余种地方志中唯一一种由外国人编修的志书,开外国人编修中国地方县志的先河,为中国特殊的汉学著述。《广汉县志略》记录了广汉地情,填补了广汉县自清同治八年（～869）以后52年未修县志的空白,丰富了《历代汉州志》的辑录,不仅具有文献价值,而且见证了中西方文化的交融与交流。Guanghan County Records in Brief compiled by British missionary Hamiltonin in 1921 is the only set of local records compiled by a foreigner among more than 600 local records of Sichuan,and being a special Sinology work,it makes the record as the first set of Chinese county records compiled by a foreigner,Guanghan County Records in Brief records local information of Guanghan,and fills up a gap of52 years after the 8th year of the Reign of Tongzhi(1869) during Qing Dynasty in Guanghan where went without county records compilation then.It enriches the collections of Hanzhou Records From Past Generations.It is not only a document of historical value but also witnesses the amalgamation and exchanges between Chinese and Western cultures.
