摘 要:本文在回顾总结世界城市网络相关研究的基础上,从航空联系的视角,借鉴社会网络分析的研究方法,以城市间航空联系的强度作为衡量城市间关系强弱的指标,探索世界城市网络中的连接性特征。研究结果表明世界城市网络中的城市存在层次性,巴黎、纽约、伦敦等世界城市为中心城市,具备最广泛的联系范围并承担最主要的中转功能。不同层次城市之间垂直联系较发达,横向联系集中在中心城市和第二层次的区域中心城市之间,第三层次的边缘城市之间横向联系偏弱。部分人口规模较小的世界城市如迪拜、法兰克福、阿姆斯特丹等立足区位优势,航空联系发达,中转能力突出,从而巩固并提升了其在世界城市网络中的地位。This paper chooses the volume of the air flights flow between cities to measure the relationships between cities, and proposes an empirical analysis to find out the connectivity of the cities within the World City Network using the methodology of Social Network Analysis. The result shows that World City Network still maintained a hierarchical structure anchored by several large central cities. These central cities have highest connectivity and play the roles of international transit hubs. This network also demonstrates that there are strong vertical connections between central cities and peripheral cities. Horizontal connections could usually be seen among central cities and seconda- ry cities, while peripheral cities are weakly connected. Finally, this article proposed a comparison of the ranking of cities in this research with the ranking of cities in the result of GaWC, and was able to find that some particular cities like Dubai, Frankfurt and Amsterdam have showed competitive ad- vantages in air connectivity which can enhance their position in the World City Network.
