摘 要:提出一种为激发产品造型设计创意提供服务的形状混合方法。首先,将初始模型、目标模型映射到单位球上;其次,提取目标模型的边界特征;然后,根据提出的"三角剖分规则一"、"三角剖分规则二"求取中间模型的拓扑模型,从而建立中间模型与初始模型、目标模型的顶点及造型特征间的映射关系;最后,通过线性插值得到一系列造型各异的中间新造型。该方法无需合并给定模型的全部拓扑结构,计算量少,生成的新模型数据量少;无需人工干涉,适合不具备形状混合技术相关专业知识的工业设计师操作使用,生成的新模型能有效保留给定模型的视觉特征,可为产品造型的概念设计提供参考。This paper presented a metamorphosis method based on triangular decomposition for product shape design. Firstly, two given triangular mesh models were projected on to the surface of a unit sphere. Secondly, the edge characteristics were calculated. Then the topological model of new models was got based on the two kinds of triangular decomposition rulers proposed in this paper. So, the spatial relationships of vertexes and shape features between the middle model and two given models could be built. Lastly, the new models were made with linear interpolation. Testes indicated that the proposed approach needed no topological merging and artificial interference and could preserve the visual features of the given models effectively. It was shown that these characters were suitable for industrial designers who had no special knowledge about the metamorphosis technologies to create new shapes for product form design.
