摘　　要：中国对澳大利亚农业投资处于起步阶段,表现为规模较小,占中国对澳大利亚直接投资的流量与存量的比重均较低;但增长速度较快。目前,中国对外直接投资正经历由"生产驱动"转向"消费驱动",以满足经济结构调整和产业升级的需要。这一战略转变使中国对澳大利亚投资更多地转向农业,主要满足中国国内对安全健康食品的消费需求。由此,中国对澳大利亚的农业投资将迎来大发展。Chinese investment in Australia＇s agriculture is in its infancy, shown as smaller size and lower portion in both flows and stocks of total outward investment from China to Australia, however, its growth is increasing quickly in recent years. At present, China＇s foreign direct investment is undergoing a shift from ＂ production-driven＂ to ＂ consumer- driven＂, in order to meet the demand of the economic restructuring and industrial upgrading. The strategic transformation of China＇s outward direct investment will lead to more and more capitals of China＇s foreign direct investment in Australia＇s agriculture to meet the growth of the consumer demand for safe and healthy agrifood in China. Thus, Chinese investment in Australia＇s agricuhure will welcome a great development.
