摘　　要：通过"产业发展—就业增长—城市化水平提升"的视角,对我国西北地区的城市化进程进行了考察。结果显示:导致西北地区城市化进程滞后的主要原因并不是产业发展落后,而是由就业增长较为缓慢引发的产业与就业相偏离;导致西北地区产业就业偏离的原因既包含产业发展方面的内部因素,也包含就业环境方面的外部因素。The urbanization process in northwest China is analyzed through the perspective of ＂industrial development - employment growth -urbanization level improving＂. The results show that the reason why the urbanization process lags behind in northwest China is not slow industrial development but the deviation between industry and employment caused by slow employ- ment growth. The cause of the deviation between industry and employment in northwest China includes internal and external factors.
