超大孔容中孔活性炭制备及吸附性能

摘　　要：以木屑为原料,以ZnCl2为活化剂,在500℃下进行炭化活化处理,制备出超大孔容中孔活性炭。分别使用比表面积测定仪、扫描电镜（SEM）、透射电镜（TEM）等对样品进行表征。结果表明：活性炭的比表面积超过1 600m^2/g,孔体积达到3.0~4.0cm^3/g,平均孔径在2.4~9.9nm范围内可控;ZnCl2的作用是创造微孔,而且能扩大微孔、形成中孔,适当增加ZnCl2的用量,能够更充分地发挥其对木屑的造孔和扩孔效应,从而得到超大孔容中孔活性炭。考察了超大孔容活性炭对有机大分子维生素B12的吸附。结果表明,活性炭的孔体积越大,吸附速率越快,吸附量越大,吸附平衡所需要的时间也越短。该研究也可作为大学物理化学开放性实验,有助于促进学生全面深刻地认识物理化学在材料科学中的应用,使学生深入了解吸附性材料的研究方式,增加学生学习兴趣,提升学生操作技能和科技创新能力。Mesoporous activated carbons with extremely huge pore volumes are synthesized by using sawdust as the carbon precursor and ZnCl2 as the activating agent.The products are characterized by N2 adsorption,SEM,and TEM.The results show that the specific surface area is more than 1600m^2/g,the pore volume is as high as 3.0-4.0cm^3/g,and average pore diameter could be adjusted within 2.4-9.9nm.In the activated carbons＇ formation process,the role of ZnCl2 is not only to create micropores,but also to enlarge micropores.Mesoporous activated carbons with extremely huge pore volumes show the advantages in the adsorption of Vitamin B12.The larger the pore volume of activated carbons,the faster the adsorption rate,the larger the adsorption amount,and the shorter the time required for the adsorption equilibrium.The present study suggests that the mesoporous activated carbons with extremely huge pore volumes would be useful for fast and efficient enrichment,separation and purification of organic macromolecules.
