摘　　要：1915年12月23日,唐继尧、任可澄致电袁世凯,要求取消帝制、惩办帝制祸首。与此同时,他们又将此电通报全国,请求响应和支持。然而,一百年来,由于各种原因,后一电却有众多版本,使人们真伪难辨。因此,有必要揭开这篇重要文献的真实面目。On December 23, 1915, Tang jiyao and Ren kecheng sent a telegram to Yuan Shikai to demand the cancellation of the monarchy and the punishment to the men who advocated monarchy. At the same time, they send it to the provinces throughout the country, to request response and support. However, over the past 100 years, due to various reasons, there were so many versions of the latter and make people don＇t know which is true, which is false. Therefore, it is necessary to disclose the true nature of this important literature.
