摘　　要：在中国,煤炭矿区往往是大规模开采煤炭的产物。随着煤矿的不断发展,一些产量较高、规模较大的煤矿逐步形成了矿区。矿区是以煤炭资源的开发利用为主业,并带动和支撑本区经济和社会发展的社区。它是在一定地区自然、技术、社会、经济条件基础上,按照一定目的,将与煤炭生产、加工、运输、销售、利用等一些相互联系、共同利用的企业和相关单位组合在一起而形成的。其主要职能是为社会提供煤炭及其加工产品或附属产品。从矿区和城市的关系来看,矿区有城区结合型、矿区城市型和单一矿区型等多种类型。依据矿区的开发阶段可分为发展阶段、稳定阶段和衰退阶段三类矿区。随着煤矿的不断发展和第三产业的不断扩大,矿区的规模也不断扩大,有的矿区发展成为煤矿城市。In China, coal mining areas are often the products of large - scale coal mining. With the development of coal mines, coal mining areas come into being around the productive large - scale coal mines with the main industry of exploitation and utilization of coal, which drives the economic and social development of the area. On the basis of the regional natural, technical, social and economic conditions, mining areas take shape with the development of interconnected and interdependent enterprises and units which are related to coal production, processing, transportation, sale, and utilization in accordance with a certain purpose. Its main function is to provide the community with coal and its processed products or subsidiary products. Con- sidering the relationship between the mining area and the city, there are City - combined Mining Areas, Mining Urban Areas and Single Mining Areas. Based on the development stage of mining areas, it can be divided into developing stage mining areas, stable stage mining areas, and decay stage mining areas. With the development of coal mines and the expansion of the tertiary industry, the scale of mining area is expanding accordingly. And some coal mining areas have developed into cities, while others are getting on the road towards transformation due to the exhausted resources.
