摘　　要：1.勤勉育人精神是教师多方面努力帮助学生进步成长的一种主体意识,是大学教师必要体现的重要的大学精神元素,它在教师精神体系中具有某种基础性影响作用。大学必须尊重和弘扬勤勉育人之精神。2.修养关怀天下之胸襟是大学生走向健全人格的重要思想条件。大学生放弃天下关怀之修养,这是大学校园一种高贵品质的流失。3.当今不少大学生缺失刻苦拼搏的求学精神,这种状态不合乎人才磨砺的规律。为使育人活动货真价实,大学既要敢于亮出一些从严培养学生的苦招来,同时也要善于亮苦招。1. The teacher＇ s spirit of diligence in teaching is a kind of subject consciousness that help students grow up and make progress. It is also a spiritual element that is necessary for college teachers because it has a cer- tain basic function in the whole spiritual system. In consequence, it is a must for a college to respect and promote this spirit. 2. Cultivating students＇ broad mind of concerning about China or the world is vital to develop students＇ healthy personality, the missing of which means the missing of a noble quality at colleges. 3. Today＇ s college students are for want of the spirit of hardworking, which violates the law of tempering talents. In order to make edu- cational activities effective, colleges need to be brave enough to adopt painful methods that can steel students＇ minds strictly and at the same time, learn to be good at using those methods.
