摘　　要：At 14:22 Beijing time June 26,2015,the GF-8 satellite was put into orbit from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center and entered its preset orbit smoothly.GF-8 is an optical remote sensing satellite under the CHEOS,which is designed to be applied in areas including home land survey,urban planning,confirmation of land rights,road network design,crop estimation and disaster prevention and mitigation,plus providing informationAt 14：22 Beijing time June 26, 2015, the GF-8 satellite was put into orbit from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center and ;enered its preset orbit smoothly. GF-8 is anoptical remote sensing satellite under CHEOS, which is designed to be applied in areas including home land survey urban planning, confirmation of land rights, road network design, crop estimation and disaster prevention and mitiga-tion, plus providing information supportfor the ＂Belt and Road＂ Initiative.
