摘 要:揭示束流随放电参数的变化规律是推力连续可调离子推力器研制工作的重要内容与理论基础。本文基于低温等离子体基本原理,结合Kaufman型离子推力器构型特点,面向束流调节技术,在充分考虑等离子体放电机制的基础上,从理论上建立描述束流与放电参数之间的函数关系的放电模型,清晰地阐述各放电参数对束流的影响;同时,开展针对性试验研究,用试验数据检验理论模型的正确性。结果表明:束流随放电电流变化较大且呈现线性特征;束流随磁场强度呈现非线性变化规律,且放电电流越大,非线性效应越明显;束流随工质流率变化呈现线性小幅变化。Beam-current regulation of Kaufman-type ion thruster. The influence of the discharge conditions, including the discharge current,magnetic field intensity and propellant flow-rate, on the beam-current was empirically approximat- ed, physically modeled based on the structure of Kaufman-type ion thruster, theoretically analyzed in low temperature plas- ma theories, and experimentally measured. The calculated results show that the discharge conditions have a major impact on the beam-current.To be specific, the beam-current increases linearly with an increase of the discharge current; at a given discharge current, the beam-current varies in a non-linear way with the magnetic field intensity, and the higher the discharge current,the larger the nonlinearity;the beam-current slowly and non-linearly changes with the propellant flow- rate. The calculated and measured results were in fairly good agreement. We suggest that our preliminary results be of some technological interest in beam-current regulationof Kaufman-type ion thruster.
