摘　　要：瓜子金是远志科远志属多年生草本植物,分布于我国南方各省,民间应用十分广泛,主要用于治疗骨髓炎、咽喉炎、口腔炎等。该植物所含的化学成分主要是皂苷、黄酮、酮、多糖等。药理活性主要表现为抗炎、镇痛以及抗肿瘤等。笔者对瓜子金的化学成分和药理活性研究进展进行综述,为其今后更好的开发利用提供参考。Polygala japonica Houtt. , a perennial herbaceous plant in genus Polygala （Polygalaceae）, is mainly distributed in northern provinces in China and has been widely applied in folk medicine. The traditional curative functions of P. japonica are the treatment of osteomyelitis, laryngopharyngitis and stomatitis, etc. The compounds isolated from P. japonica so far mainly include saponins, flavonoids, xanthones, and polysaccharides, etc. Various bioactivities such as anti- inflammatory, anti-tumor and analgesic activity, have been reported from modem pharmacological research. The aim of this review is to summarize up-to-date data on the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of P. japonica based on scientific literatures in recent years. It will construct a new foundation for further development and utilization of the resource.
