摘　　要：弗雷·奥托几乎是与轻型结构绑定的名字,他对建筑领域的贡献不仅是技术性和知识性的,还有品格性的。倾尽一生,奥托都在研究实验和发展一种最具责任感和使命感的建筑实践,都在用不断的创新为"所有人尤其是底层民众"打造建筑的"天堂"。本文简要回顾了奥托先生的生平与职业轨迹,并对他关于轻型化结构的经典设计案例与设计哲学进行概述与阐释。既是对时代巨匠的缅怀与致敬,同时也借此说明奥托的建筑语法,实际上已经融入到我们这个时代最为普遍的建筑实践之中。在技术之外,建筑人更需传承的是其对建筑及世界付出的好奇、专注与温情。Frei Otto is almost the name binding to the lightweight structure, whose contribution to architecture is not only in technics and intelligence, but also in virtue. During all his life, Otto was carrying on researching, experimenting and developing an architectural practice of great responsibility and mission, as well as keeping on building paradise for everyone especially the poor with incessant creation. This article briefly reviews the track of Mr. Otto＇s life and career, sketches out and interprets his classic design cases and philosophy of lightweight structure. It is the memoriam and respect to the giant of era, meanwhile it also states that his architectural grammar has actually been integrated into the most common building practice of current age. In addition to the technology, what the architects need to inherit is his paying curiosity, dedication and warmth to architecture and the world.
