摘  要:氧化铈作为一种重要的工业"维生素"被广泛应用于玻璃、陶瓷、发光材料、汽车尾气净化和金属铈生产等各个领域。针对传统稀土碳酸盐采用平推窑煅烧存在不连续、物料加热不均、反应速度慢、能耗高的问题,对碳酸铈的煅烧机制进行了试验研究,为新型高效连续煅烧设备热工计算提供重要参考。以一定水分的稀土碳酸铈为原料,通过热重分析试验得到碳酸铈原料的热分解过程机制。试验发现:90~110℃为物料的自由水蒸发脱除过程,在140~220℃物料结晶水发生脱除,440℃左右发生物料脱碳的分解反应。根据上述试验结果进行了物料的煅烧试验,并对原料的含水率及产品粒度进行了试验分析,得出碳酸铈含有18.5%自由水和12.2%的结晶水;煅烧后产品的粒径分布范围在1~100μm之间,大多数颗粒粒径集中分布在10~100μm,少部分颗粒的粒径低于10μm;最后对煅烧产品进行X射线衍射(XRD)分析,得出产品为Ce O2,说明800℃下,60 min可以完成物料中的自由水、结晶水和二氧化碳脱除。Cerium oxide, also known as an important "vitamin" of modern industry, is widely used in a variety of applications such as glass, ceramic polishing agent, luminescent material, autonlohile emission purification and metallic eerium production. In view of problems of discontinuities, uneven heating, slow reaction rate and high energy consumption existing in traditional rare earth carbonate ealeination by pushing kiln, the calcination mechanism of cerium carbonate was studied, which could provide a valuable reference liar thermal calculation of new high efficient continuous calcination equipment. Using rare earth cerium carbonate of certain moisture con- tent as raw material, the raw material cerium carbonate thermal decomposition mechanism was analyzed by thermogravimetric analysis test. The results showed that the evaporation process of fi'ee water frnm nmterial occurred at 90 -110 ℃ , the removal of crystallized water from material occurred at 140 - 220 ℃ , and the material deearburizing decomposition reaction oeemTed around 440 ℃. Calcining tests of the raw material were carried out according to the above test results, and the moisture content of raw material and product gran- ularity were analyzed, h was showed that the cerium carbonate contained 18.5% free water and 12.2% crystal water. The particle size of ealcinate products ranged from 1 to 100 μm, the majority of the product was between 10 - 100 μm, and a minor part of product was less than 10 μm. Finally, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis was carried out on the calcined product, which indicated that the product was CeO2. The study showed that proper cerium oxide could be obtained after the removal of free water, crystal water and carl)on (lit)x- ide within 60 rain under 800℃.
