摘　　要：本文在概述廉价政府的由来、内涵以及社会治理内涵的基础上,从廉价政府为实现社会治理现代化和科学化提供基本条件,社会治理的基本价值追求有助于建设廉价政府两个方面探讨了廉价政府与社会治理的相互关系。The paper, on the basis of summarizing the ori gin and connotation of low-cost government as well as the connotation of social governance,discusses the mutual relationship between low-cost government and social governance from two aspects of low-cost government offering basic conditions to realize modernization and scientific nature of social governance and the pursuit of the basic value of social governance contributing to construct low-cost government.
