Building Chinese journals indexed by SCIE in blank subjects to enhance the international influence of scientific journals

摘　　要：[目的]研究我国在SCIE空白学科领域的学术成果现状,指出在此领域建设SCIE期刊的方法。[方法]利用In Cites和Scopus数据库,获取我国SCIE空白学科领域已发SCIE论文总量、占全球百分比等指标。从未有中国英文期刊和已有中国英文期刊两个视角,研究了我国空白学科领域的学术研究现状。[结果]我国多个SCIE空白学科领域已有大量高水平SCIE论文发表,并且多个学术机构在科研生产力、影响力、创新力和发展力上都领先或者接近全球平均水平。[结论]在SCIE空白学科领域,通过组建学会办刊、资助优势特色期刊等办法,可以建设一批高国际影响力的英文期刊。[ Purposes] This paper aims to study the academic achievements in the subjects without journals indexed by SCIE, and to propose a method for constructing journals satisfying SCIE requirements in these subjects. [ Methods] Using InCites and Scopus databases, we obtained the indexes such as total cites, percentage of highly cited papers and hot topics of these subjects. The academic research statuses in these blank subjects were studied from the perspectives of the having-English journals and having no- English journals. [ Findings] There are many high-level papers published in SCIE in these subjects. Many academic achievements are in the lead or close to the global average in terms of research productivity, influence, creativity, and growth capacity. [ Conclusions ] By building academic societies to run journals and finance advanced characteristic journals, it is possible to establish a batch of high-level English journals with great global influence in the blank subjects not included in SCIE.
