摘　　要：茨威格的《巴尔扎克》是他苦心经营二十余年的传记力作,弗洛伊德精神分析理论对其影响明显。茨威格描述了巴尔扎克的家庭、他的童年和少年时代、他与母亲的关系、童年记忆对其爱情观的深刻影响、情爱生活对其文学创作的激发与推动等。他对巴尔扎克及其创作极其熟悉,紧紧围绕主人公的生平、情爱和文学创作等夹叙夹议,尤其是对主人公的文学作品有切中肯綮而简洁精当的评价。因此,《巴尔扎克》在很大程度上是一部功力深厚的研究性的学术评传。Balzac,Written by Zweig,is a biographical masterpiece which he had been elaborative with painstaking been for over 20 years,and it＇s also greatly influenced by Freud＇s psychoanalytic theory. Zweig described Balzac＇s family,childhood,boyhood,and his relationship with his mother,the impact of his childhood memories on his romantic relationship,his creation and promotion effected by his romantic relationship,etc. Zweig is quite familiar with Balzac and his masterpieces. He narrates and comments closely on the subject of Balzac＇s life,love and those masterpieces,especially he evaluates on Balzac＇s literary works concisely and appropriately. Therefore,Balzac is,to a great extent,a profound academic critical biography.
