摘  要:斯特凡·格奥尔格是19世纪末20世纪初德国诗坛上以"为艺术而艺术"著称的著名诗人,他还以格奥尔格圈子闻名于世,以诗孜孜教育弟子们;诗人之为师者、以诗言教是他的追求,这集中呈现在他早期创作的一组赞歌里。之后他写作的大量给圈子成员的诗,越来越偏向于教谕。格奥尔格的创作让人体会到了融合艺术的美与艺术的社会责任的艰难。In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Stefan George is not only a preeminent German poet of "Art for Art's Sake", but also is famous for his"George Circle", in which disciples are educated by poems. His conception of poet as a mas-ter under the poetic education shows fully in his early Preisgedichte, whereas his later poems dedicated to the members of his Circle tend to be more didactic. George's works display the difficulty in integrating the beauty and the social responsibility of art.
