《论语新解》中“有耻且格”释义  

On the Paraphrase of "Shame and Lattice" in " A New Interpretation of Analects"

摘　　要：钱穆在《论语新解》中将《论语·为政》篇中的"有耻且格"释为"人人心中将感到违背领导是耻辱,自能正确地到达在上者所要领导他们到达的方向去"。通过对"格"字溯源,可知"格"的释义有所缩小,且有字义杂揉之嫌。此外,该解释将"耻"之内涵局限于"感到违背领导",内涵有所缩小;又与孔子一贯的"仁本"思想有异,故本文认为此译有欠妥之处。IN Qian Mu＇s book ＂A New Interpretation of Analects＂,his paraphrase of ＂shame and lattice＂ in ＂The Analects Governing＂has something improper .He said the sentence means that if everyone feels shamed to against the leadership ,they will correct to arrive somewhere their leaders wants them to .But considering the meaning of the word＂lattice＂,the rich con‐notation of ＂shame＂and the ideology of Confucius ,there is something inappropriate .
