摘　　要：文章是为"中国矿产地质志"项目进行"全覆盖"的矿产成矿规律研究而撰写的,旨在了解中国矿产的种类及其数量。在对前人有关古代矿业的众多资料和1949年至今的5个矿产分类方案进行汇总和比较的基础上,结合当前国际上的矿产分类,根据《地球科学大辞典》中有关"矿产""金属矿产""非金属矿产"等诸多术语之定义,对诸方案的能源矿产、金属矿产、非金属矿产和宝玉石矿产分类分别进行述评后,提出了中国矿产资源的系统分类,包括:1能源矿产13种;2金属矿产39种/族(其中,黑色金属5种、有色金属13种、贵金属3种/族、稀有金属8种、稀土金属15种+钇和钪、分散元素9种);3非金属矿产114种/组,其中,矿物类非金属矿产65种/组、岩石(土)类矿产49种/组;4水气矿产6种,合计172种(组)矿产,并给出它们的矿物分子式。此外,还重复列出宝玉石类和观赏石类(装饰石、收藏石及具中国文化特色的砚石、印章石)矿产53种;其中,宝石类矿产14种/类、玉石类矿产22种和观赏石类矿产17种;另增加有机类的琥珀1种。This paper is written for ＂Program of the Mineral Resources and Geology of China＂ that researches the minerogeny regularity of ＂all＂ mineral resources in order to determine the types of mineral resources and their commodities. On the basis of synthesizing and contrasting the predecessors＇ abundant data about ancient mineral industry and 5 classification schemes of mineral resources and their commodity since the founding of New China to the recent years, combining the recent international classification scheme and the definition of ＂mineral re- sources＂, ＂metallic resources＂ and ＂nonmetallic resources＂ . in 〈 The Dictionary of Geological Sciences〉, the authors discuss the energy, metallic, nonmetallic and gem-jade resources of 5 classification schemes respec- tively, and propose the classification scheme of mineral resources and commodity of China, including 13 ener- gy resources, 39 metallic resources, including 5 ferrous metals, 13 nonferrous metals, 3 precious metals, 8 rare metals, 15 rare-earth metals ＋ Y and Sc , 9 dispersion elements, 114 nonferrous resources, including 65 mineral resources, 49 rock （earth） resources and 6 water-gas resources, and give their mineral molecular for-mula. Besides, 14 gemstones, 22 jade stones and 17 enjoyable stones（decoration stones, collector＇s stones, as well as ink stone and stamp stone with Chinese cultural character）are listed repeatedly, and an amber of organic gemstone is added.
