摘　　要：西印度醋栗为大戟科叶下珠属植物,民间广泛用于治疗高血压、糖尿病等,提取物具有抗菌、降血压、细胞毒等活性。化学成分主要是以倍半萜为主的萜类成分,具有较好的降血压、细胞毒、抗乙肝病毒等活性。因此,西印度醋栗的化学成分值得深入研究。Phyllanthus acidus（ Linn.） Skeel,a folk medicinal plant belonging to the genus Phyllanthus（ Euphorbiaceae）,is widely used for treating hypertension and diabetes,and its extracts have antibacterial,hypotensive and cytotoxic activities. Some terpenoids,especially many sesquiterpenoids with good anti-hypertension,cytotoxic and anti-Hepatitis B virus activities,have been isolated and identified from the plant. Therefore,the chemical constituents of the plant deserve to be further researched.
