摘　　要：党的十八大以来,习近平总书记就培育和弘扬社会主义核心价值观,提出了许多富有创见的新思想新观点新论断。学习领会习近平总书记关于社会主义核心价值观的重要论述,尤须深刻认识培育和弘扬社会主义核心价值观的现实意义:是强基固本、保障国家安全的现实需求;是凝魂聚气、促进社会和谐的精神支撑;是修身立德、提升公民道德的必然要求。在实践中,要使核心价值观真正成为国家层面的价值目标、社会层面的价值属性和个人层面的价值准则,成为实现国家奋斗目标的动力、促进社会有序治理的标尺和提升公民道德境界的遵循。Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the general secretary XI Jinping has put forward many new thoughts, views and theses in connection with fostering and carrying forward the socialist core values. Studying and under- standing his important discourse about the socialist core values needs us to better understand and realize the significance of fostering and carrying forward the socialist core values, because it is realistic demands of consolidating our base and protec- ting national security, the spiritual support of cohesion and promoting social harmony, and the essential requirements of cul- tivating morality and promoting civic virtues. So in practice, it is necessary to make the socialist core values our value tar- gets at country level, value attribute at social level and value principles at individual level, and also the motivation of achie- ving the national objective of the struggle, the standards of promoting social orderly management and rules of promoting civ- ic virtue realm.
