摘  要:利用电子探针测试山东褐色蓝宝石的成分,发现样品的铁(特别是3价铁)含量很高.在山东褐色蓝宝石中掺入铍、镁等元素后对其进行热扩散处理,采用光纤光谱仪测试处理前后样品,结果表明处理后颜色、透明度较处理前均有明显改善;采用X射线衍射仪对样品测试,结果表明所掺离子进入样品内部,改色后样品成分检测亦显示所掺离子进入表层.高温处理对蓝宝石的改色很重要.温度越高,保温时间越长,改色效果越好,即样品由褐色变为浅蓝色,颜色更鲜艳,透明度更高,呈现更纯的颜色外观.Electronic probe is used to test the composition of brown sapphire. After calculation,its high iron content,especially ferric iron,is found out. Thermal diffusion treatment is carried out by adding beryllium and magnesium. Through the comparison of the testing results before and after treatment by optical fiber spectrometer,the color and transparency are found to be improved significantly. Testing results from X- ray diffractometer show that doped ions go into the internal of samples. Meanwhile,composition analysis shows that these doped ions go into the surface of the sample after treatment. High- temperature treatment is crucial to color change: the higher the temperature and the longer the time is,the better color change is. The color of the sample transforms from brown to light blue,with a better color,transparency and appearance.
