摘　　要：牡丹是特色名花,药用价值极高,具有防病、治病和保健养生之效。皖北地区栽培牡丹的历史悠久,牡丹种质资源是生物多样性的重要组成部分,研究牡丹种质资源价值很高。在分析皖北地区牡丹种质资源现状的基础上,立足皖北地区实际,提出了牡丹种质资源收集、保存、研究和利用的思路。Peony was a kind of distinctive flowers, which famous all over the word. The medieinal value of peony was extremely high and it had the funetion of preventing and treating diseases and heahh eare. There was a long history of cultivating peony in the north of Anhui Province, and the germplasm resources of peony was an important part ot biodiversity. Researching germplasm resources of peony had a very high value, which was a hot topic nowadays. Based on analyzing peony germplasm resources and the actual situation in the north of Anhui Provinee, the thought of the collection, conservation, research and utilization of the germplasm resources of peony were put forward.
